Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of our licensed occupational therapists to provide high-quality therapy services to children with various needs. This position offers flexibility with both part-time and full-time opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized therapy plans designed by licensed occupational therapists.
- Conduct therapy sessions with children, focusing on improving their motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy activities as needed.
- Collaborate with therapists, parents, and caregivers to support the child's development and well-being.
- Maintain a positive and nurturing environment for patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Maintain Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) licensure through the state of Texas.
- Experience working with pediatric patients, particularly those with special needs, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for helping children and making a difference in their lives.
