Referral from your Doctor
A doctor's referral is required for us to proceed with scheduling the evaluation. This ensures that we have all the necessary medical context to provide the best care for your child. We can help simplify this process for you if you have already voiced your concerns to your child's pediatrician.

Once we have received the medical history, intake forms, and doctor’s referral, our team will promptly reach out to you to schedule an appointment. We aim to make this process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Assessment Day
We look forward to welcoming you and your child for their upcoming evaluation. To ensure a smooth and effective assessment process, we ask that a parent or guardian be present on-site for the entire evaluation.

- Parent Participation: The evaluation includes a parent interview and a Q&A session, making your presence essential.
- Duration: The assessment typically takes about one hour to complete.
- Minimize Distractions:
- We suggest not bringing siblings into the treatment room if possible to help maintain focus.
- We understand the need for sibling childcare and appreciate your efforts to minimize distractions.
Treatment Authorizations
Once the assessment is completed, our evaluating therapist will forward the medical reports to your child’s pediatrician. After receiving insurance approval for the treatment authorization, our office will reach out to you to schedule therapy sessions. These appointments are typically held 1-2 times per week, based on the recommended treatment plan.
